I'm Theoren, and my four-legged adventure buddy is Riley.
Although Riley makes a great model, he's no good with a camera--I on the other hand, have been shooting since high school. I went to university for photojournalism and spent the first part of my career working at small community newspapers.
When I left the journalism industry I tried my hand at pet and portrait photography. Although I have a talent for the photography side of it, I found little joy in running my own business. Thus, I have chosen to discontinue selling photography services.
These days I shoot mostly travel photos on my rare vacations, and get joy from photography solely as a hobby and not a business. The rest of my time is spent on my many other hobbies, and my full time job working in museums.
And trying to keep up with Riley, of course.

Riley is a 12-ish-year-old mystery mutt that I adopted from a shelter in North Carolina. He loves all things outdoors, especially off-leash hiking, cross-country skiing, swimming, and of course, chasing anything that moves.
I'm 30-ish-year-old human, who was born in raised in Kansas. I also love all things outdoors, especially hiking, cross-country skiing, paddle-boarding and trail running (the only thing I chase is Riley).
